Once you've completed your profile and selected your buying preferences, QuickAuction will begin notifying you about listings that match your interests.
Notifications help you discover new opportunities as soon as they're available, whether the item is listed in Inventory or enters a live Auction.
QuickAuction supports a wide variety of item categories, including:
- Automobiles
- Motorcycles
- Boats and Watercraft
- Heavy Equipment
- Auto Parts
- Miscellaneous Items and Memorabilia
How Notifications Work
When a listing that matches your buying preferences becomes available, you'll receive a text message notification at the phone number associated with your QuickAuction account.
Notifications may include information such as:
- Item category
- Year (when applicable)
- Make
- Model
- Approximate location or distance from you
From the notification, you can open the listing in the QuickAuction app to:
- View photos and item details.
- Submit an offer on Inventory listings.
- Place a bid on active Auctions.
- Purchase the item immediately using Buy It Now (if available).
Auction Notifications
When a matching listing enters a live Auction:
- You'll receive a notification that bidding has begun.
- Auctions remain open for 7 days.
- You can place or update your bid at any time before the auction ends.
- Each auction includes a countdown timer showing how much time remains.
At the end of the auction, the highest bid is presented to the seller for approval.
Inventory Notifications
You may also receive notifications for Inventory listings that match your preferences.
Inventory listings allow you to:
- Browse available items.
- Submit offers directly to the seller.
- Purchase immediately using Buy It Now (if available).
Unlike Auctions, Inventory listings do not have a countdown timer and remain available until they sell, are removed, or are entered into a live auction.
Managing Notifications
You can update your buying preferences and notification settings at any time from your QuickAuction account to receive alerts for the types of items you're most interested in.
